Ryan Dubberly

Ryan grew up in the Pacific Northwest. In 2017 he joined King County Search and Rescue where he was introduced to hiking; his interest in climbing grew from there. In 2017 he hiked 750 miles and 250,000' of ascent, including climbing all five Washington Volcanos and has been focusing on alpine rock climbing since. Ryan is in the Mountaineers Intermediate Climbing program where he is learning traditional rock, glacier, and ice climbing, as well as teaching new climbers in rock, snow, and navigation. Ryan's interest in fundraising started in 2015 and 2016 by participating in the Scott Firefighter Stairclimb raising money for Leukemia & Lymphoma. Peaks of Life is a great transition from climbing buildings to climbing mountains for a great cause.
