Mt Rainier Women’s Climb

» Jenn Carter

I grew up backpacking and caving with my dad in Tennessee. Since moving to Seattle 18 years ago, I've developed a passion for climbing. I've climbed mountains all over the Cascades including many ascents of Rainier. I've climbed in Kyrgyzstan, Yosemite, The Tetons and Alaska. In 2015, I summited Denali with an all women team sponsored by the American Alpine Club. I currently teach climbing for the Mountaineers and volunteer as a rescuer with Seattle Mountain Rescue. My other great passion is working as a Children's Librarian where I serve children, their families, educators and caregivers.

I am super excited to join Peaks of Life in this all women's climb of Rainier. Climbing Mount Rainier is a special experience in a truly unique and wonder filled place. There is no other place like it on Earth! I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to share this unique experience with a fantastic team of women. The icing on the cake, is the opportunity to help raise money for the uncompensated care fund for Seattle Children's Hospital. I hope you will donate big to this worthy cause!
