Mt Rainier Women’s Climb

» Alexis Leader

Growing up around the Pacific Northwest instilled in me from a very young age a passion for the outdoors. I get out into the mountains every chance I get. Luckily, by volunteering with King County Search and Rescue and being a part of the Mountaineers I usually have no shortage of opportunities to get outside. There’s nothing like being outside in nature. Rainer has been in the background of many great memories and I’m excited for this chance to finally make it to the top!

Early childhood is another deep passion of mine, I’m currently finishing up my degree in Early Childhood and Family Studies at the University of Washington. Early childhood is such a unique developmental time in a person’s life which is why raising money for the uncompensated care fund at Seattle Children’s Hospital is so important to me. All children should receive the care that they need no matter the cost. Thank you for your support!
