Mt Rainier Women’s Climb

» Olivia Leader

I am a Washington state native and love the Pacific Northwest! I have grown up in a family that has fostered a lifelong appreciation for nature. From our annual road trips to our massive collection of National Park Junior Ranger badges, it is not hard to see we enjoy our time outside. After my dad joined King County Search and Rescue he encouraged me to do the same. Last year, at 15, I became a member and that was the turning point for me. I began to increase my technical skills, confidence, and knowledge of the outdoors. This summer will be my first season of climbing and I am so excited to have this opportunity to climb Rainier with an all ladies team and for a good cause! All of the donations will go to the uncompensated care fund at Seattle Children’s Hospital, because every child deserves health care.
